Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant JSC Returns Another Repaired Mi-24 to the Army
The Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant JSC team has completed the overhaul of the Mi-24 helicopter. This is the second rotory-wing aircraft in this year, returned to the Armed Forces in a completely different quality condition.
Each transfer of aviation equipment to the Defence Ministry is a significant event in the personnel’s life. Despite the restrictive measures because of the Covid-19 pandemic and thus difficulties with the supply of components, the employees of the enterprise managed to complete the overhaul of the helicopter within the agreed time frame.
After the repair, the Mi-24 successfully passed a complex of ground and flight tests, the acceptance of the military representation and the engineering and technical staff of the military unit.
The flight crew took the updated combat vehicle to the air, carried out a familiarisation flight and headed for the base airfield.
