NEMAN Buses Produced by Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant JSC Are in Demand in the Russian Market

At the end of November 2020, four NEMAN 420238-511 school buses were delivered to the educational institutions of the city of Novorossiysk. The buses were purchased by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium as part of the charitable programme.

The bus is designed to transport children and has 30 seats equipped with seat belts. The body is welded, metal, lined with fibreglass panels, and fitted with two single-leaf doors with an electric drive. The bus has an air suspension driver’s seat with headrest and adjustments. The passenger compartment is equipped with luggage racks with LED lighting, window shades and an on-board computer. The bus is fitted with a 170 hp Euro-5 IVECO F1C engine, parking sensors, and air conditioning.

This is not the first case of the company’s civil products being delivered to the Russian region by Uragan Service Centre LLC, a Moscow dealer of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MWTP). Ten city buses and three school buses of the NEMAN brand were delivered to Novorossiysk earlier. A batch of tourist buses is being prepared for shipment.

In addition, MWTP’s dealer in St. Petersburg delivered school buses to the Leningrad region in the autumn of 2020. District administrations acquire NEMAN 420238-511 buses for rural schools. Now schoolchildren living in the region travel for knowledge with comfort.

A total of 36 tourist, intercity, and school buses of the NEMAN brand were delivered to Russia in the fourth quarter of 2020.
