Geoinformation Control Systems Holding Presents Its Products at the Meeting of the CIS Chiefs of Signals Coordination Committee.
Early in October, Brest hosted a meeting of the CIS Chiefs of Signals Coordination Committee, which was attended by representatives of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as senior officers of the Secretariat of the Defence Ministers Council of the CIS countries.
During the meeting, the participants were shown an exposition of modern and promising systems and means of communications, represented by the Belorussian and Russian defence enterprises. Geoinformation Control Systems Holding (AGAT – Control Systems JSC, AGAT-SYSTEM JSC and JSC Tekhnika Svyazi ) demonstrated the latest developments in the field of creation of means and complexes of communications and data transfer, forming fibre-optic, radio, radio relay, tropospheric and satellite lines and communications networks with high capacity and stability.
The meeting’s programme included a presentation of the possibilities of communications facilities ensuring the functioning of the control system with the integration of the unified communications system’s elements of the CIS member states at real distances using the resources of spacecraft and national telecommunication systems.
This was successfully demonstrated by Geoinformation Control Systems Holding enterprises’ specialists together with military personnel of the signals of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus at the 227th training ground.
The head of the holding Gennady Kazakov addressed the members of the Coordination Committee with a report on the priorities of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding’s enterprises in the interests of the armed forces of the CIS member states.
Negotiations on joint projects were also held with representatives of a number of Russian defence companies.
