Employees of SAMI Central Office and Its Companies Pass Professional Retraining in the Sphere of Strategic Management under EMAS Business School Programme
From 5 March, the first group of 27 students started corporate training under the professional retraining programme in the field of business strategy and strategic management. This group included chiefs of central office departments, heads of State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) companies with their deputies for development, economy and finance, chief engineers, as well as the personnel reserve responsible for developing a growth strategy.
During the training, which will last until 11 September 2020 in internal study mode and online study mode, students will receive a full range of knowledge on business strategy and strategic management, developing an effective development strategy for an industrial enterprise in the local and global markets.
The training is conducted by one of the best expert practitioners and business consultants in this area in Russia and Eastern Europe, rector of the Eurasian Management and Administration School (EMAS, Moscow) Andrei Kolyada and Dmitry Mikhailov, the only Russian trainer who is simultaneously certified with Stephen Covey and Brian Tracy technologies.
After successfully defending graduation projects, students will receive an established EMAS diploma of professional retraining in strategic management. The current training has become possible thanks to the fruitful cooperation of SAMI with EMAS, including the successful implementation of the Strategic Management Session from EMAS Business School under the Executive programme, which was held in Belarus as part of the SMART PATENT 2019 Innovation Ideas Fair and the INMAX Forum.
According to SAMI, the knowledge acquired during the training will improve the work on the formation of a development strategy for the organisation and the defence industry of the economy as a whole and bring the system of managerial decisions in line with world trends. It is worth noting that one of the most important department activities this year is the completion of the formation and adoption of the Defence Industry and Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry Development Strategy until 2030, which is fundamentally different from the long-term planning documents previously developed by SAMI.
As practice shows, success in a market economy is based on accounting and scrupulous analysis of many influential internal and external factors and the choice of balanced, well-reasoned informed decisions. Therefore, the emphasis is placed on the training of new personnel such as heads of organisations due to international business programmes.
