ATM-D Is an Indispensable Vehicle for Duty in Special Conditions and Remote Patrolling

One of the main exhibits of Agat – Electromechanical Plant JSC at the MILEX-2021 exhibition will be a cargo vehicle for transporting personnel (multifunctional) ATM-D.

The vehicle is designed to transport personnel to places of special operations in various types of terrain, as well as to autonomously support the life of the unit in the areas where tasks are performed. Its operation can be carried out in any climatic conditions in the temperature range from -40 to +50 °C.

ATM-D consists of a domestic chassis with a 6x6 wheel arrangement and a van body equipped with air conditioning, an autonomous heater, LED lighting, a panel of sockets, and induced draft fans. There is a sanitary-amenity block equipped with everything necessary for the life support of personnel – an electric stove, a kettle, a refrigerator, a microwave cooker, hygiene facilities, a water supply system. The box body has compartments for storing standard weapons, accoutrements and equipment, an emergency exit.

The vehicle is designed to move a unit of up to 22 people. The developed design provides for 18 bunk beds, which provides good rest for the personnel in the halt points. The cab is equipped with stationary and mobile radio stations, as well as a set of loudspeaker communications between the cab and the box body.

The ATM-D equipment for the transportation of personnel allows to solve the tasks of remote patrolling or being on duty in special conditions, including the necessary supplies of water and provisions, as well as to maintain from 4 to 7 days the vital activity of the military personnel on board.
