Agat – Electromechanical Plant Hands over to the Military Department Two Simulators of Radio Relay Stations

In December 2020, within the framework of agreements with the Belarusian Defence Ministry, Agat - Electromechanical Plant JSC manufactured two training simulators for R-434 Citrus and R-414 MBRP Sosna-2 radio relay stations. For the implementation of the project, design documentation developed for skeleton frameworks, antenna posts, sets of cables and harnesses, floor cable ducts, an antenna posts load distribution frame and other units. Assembled and adjusted products, which are prefabricated structures from a metal profile with transparent walls and installed technical means, telecommunication equipment and antenna posts are installed in the classroom of the communications department at the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus.

The simulators are designed to train the Armed Forces personnel to work on radio relay stations, to acquire skills and experience in communications means, telecommunications and other equipment used in organising radio relay and cable communications channels. The products installed in the classroom perform all the basic functions of the R-434 Citrus and R-414MBRP Sosna-2 radio relay stations.

The installation of such stations, according to experts, will improve the training equipment and stores of military educational institutions, increase the efficiency and reduce the training time for future signal officers of the Belarusian Armed Forces on these types of communications means.
