AUTOMATED CONTROL SYSTEMS

SPRUT-S CONTROL AND GUIDANCE POST
(STATIONARY VERSION)

ÀÑÓ Ñïðóò-ÑIntended for instrumental guidance of fighter aircraft and fighter-bombers to maneuvering and nonmaneuvering air and ground targets.

Components:

- up to six automated workstations with ground/air situation and mission plotting capabilities;

- a central computer (CC);

- a data transmission module (DTM);

- a local computer network (LCN).

Assigned tasks:

- reception, processing, storage and display of information on air/ground situation and combat missions;

- simultaneous control of fighter aircraft through 24 channels of the command radio link (CRL) or the command transmission station (CTS);

- fulfillment of eight types of combat missions;

- flight safety;

- transfer of control from one control and guidance post to another via the higher command post.
